GUESTS
1. Is it really free?
Yes! There is no charge for your special evening at A Night to Remember. We will cover the cost for your tux, food, limo ride, pictures, swag bags and more!
2. Where is it going to be located?
NTR will be held at the VENTURA FAIRGROUNDS, 10 West Harbor Blvd, Ventura.
3. What day/time is A Night to Remember?
NTR will be held on Friday, March 14, 2025, from 6:30-9:30p.m.
4. Is the caregiver allowed to attend?
Yes! Many of our caregivers are most comfortable staying at the prom, which is just fine. Each guest is provided with their own host, so they will be well looked after. However, we welcome caregivers to watch the fun on the screens in our Family Courtyard outside.
5. What ages are allowed to come?
Age range for Guests is from ages 12 to 25. We limit it to these ages to help us celebrate safely.
6. Is transportation available?
No. The limo ride will take place AT THE EVENT. Please coordinate your own transportation to and from the Fairgrounds. Free parking is available.
7. When does registration close?
Pre-Registration is open until March 12th, but walk-in registrations are welcome at the event. If you've already submitted your registration online and received an email confirmation, you're good to go!
8. How do I get my tux?
We have made arrangements for you to pick up a tux, FREE of charge to you, for a Night to Remember prom. We’ll have more details soon!
9. How do I get my dress?
Dress selection will take place February 22nd and March 1st, 2025, 9am-12pm
Guests can keep their dresses!
10. When do I get my hair and makeup done?
All the last minute magic happens right before the event itself at the Ventura Fairgrounds. If you are getting your hair and/or makeup done, please plan to check in at 6PM to meet with one of our stylists.
VOLUNTEERS/HOSTS
1. What is the role of a Host?
Hosts are paired with a guest and stay by their side for an evening of food, limo rides, pictures, and dancing. The sole responsibility of a Host is to serve the guest and make them feel safe, honored, accepted and celebrated. You will be surrounded by lots of support, energy and fun. Many of our hosts have said they had more fun at this prom than their own and can't wait until it comes around again each year.
2. What qualifications do I need to be a Host?
Hosts are 15-25 years old. You don't need to have any specific skills - just a willingness to be fully engaged with the guests and your team, follow through with responsibilities and meetings and have a lot of fun!
Hosts must attend the Host Training on Tuesday, March 11th, 2025 (6:30-8:00 PM) to be a host.
3. Are there age requirements for other volunteer roles?
Hosts - 15-25 years
Paparazzi - any age! (volunteers under 15 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian)
All other volunteer roles - 18+
